Building a unified protection ecosystem to prevent trafficking.
Durga is an AI-assisted platform that connects NGOs, clinics, shelters, communities, and government into a coordinated ecosystem to identify trafficking risks, coordinate timely interventions, and monitor rehabilitation outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
Our Founding Conviction

Durga was created after observing that women vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation, including many women involved in the sex trade, often encounter disconnected support systems. Accessing healthcare, shelter, legal assistance, rehabilitation services, and government programs frequently requires navigating multiple organizations independently. Durga was designed to connect these services into a unified protection ecosystem.
"We founded DURGA because we saw that trafficking prevention fails when NGO's, shelters, healthcare providers, and government agencies operate in isolation. By connecting them through a unified AI-powered platform, we can intervene earlier, protect more lives, and support long-term recovery."
— Adv. Shrikant Thakur, FounderFragmented Survivor Support
We observed that healthcare clinics, NGO shelters, and legal groups worked in isolation. Women vulnerable to exploitation or involved in the sex trade could receive outpatient medical care but remain exposed to threats due to a lack of coordinated support and continuity of care.
Coordination in Real-Time
The team asked: What if every organization could securely see and coordinate on warning signals in real-time, in the field, when it actually matters?
Avoiding App Clutter
Existing options were either reactive hotline applications, awareness campaigns, or closed databases. What the sector lacked was shared, interoperable communication infrastructure.
Building a Shared Ecosystem
Instead of building another isolated service app, the decision was made to build a unified coordination layer to align NGOs, healthcare, and government agencies to track support outcomes.
Letter from the Founder
To those who seek protection, and those who dedicate their work to delivering it:
This platform was created because we believe that protecting women from trafficking, coercion, and exploitation is a structural necessity, not a charity. Durga exists to support women facing unsafe conditions, those struggling to access fragmented services, and women involved in the sex trade who are often excluded from standard care.
Durga serves as the coordination layer that connects clinics, shelters, and government agencies, ensuring these women receive immediate support, legal aid, and long-term rehabilitation care. By coordinating early warnings with sex worker validation, we build a unified protection ecosystem.
We invite your organization to join this unified protection ecosystem. If you share this belief — that coordinated networks protect people better than isolated groups — then Durga is where your work belongs.
